A suicide bombing outside Quetta, Balochistan, on Sunday detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a railway track as a passenger train passed, killing at least 23 people and injuring over 70. Two train cars overturned and caught fire from the blast's force. Officials report 20 wounded are in critical condition.
The Pakistani President, Asif Ali Zardari, condemned the incident, stating that "militants and their backers" aim to disrupt Pakistan's international and regional peace contributions. The militant group responsible claimed the train was carrying security personnel.

A spokesperson for Bank of America confirmed the bank is cooperating with French authorities. The bank employs hundreds in France.
